Cool Romeo la casa responsable por la caja "Celluoid Rock" lanzó en 2001 una producción realmente monumental para la época. Los bueno años de los bootlges todavían estaban corriendo. La única fuente para tomas alternativas eran las producciones piratas. FTD recién llevaba 2 años en el mercado y con los álbumes que hacían notar que Sony no iba a tomar riesgos (Silver Screen Stereo o Long Lonely Highway). Una caja como la "Unsurpassed" se convertía rápidamente en una fuente esencial para las sesiones en su mayoría de los 60s. 
Las sesiones para Hollywood fueron ampliamente cubiertas en "Celluloid Rock" de manera que dejaron espacio incluso para lo trabajado en el American Sound. Sin embargo 13 años después ¿puede seguir siendo esencial la caja de Cool Romeo?. La respuesta es Si y No. No, si se está pensando en calidad de audio y no se es muy minucioso en cuanto a tener cada toma grabada por Elvis. Casi todo el material expuesto aquí, está disponible en otros lados, desde FTD hasta piratas. Poro otro lado SI es esencial si la tienes en físico, en su momento era una de las piezas mas caras y raras para el coleccionista de Elvis. Sigue siendo esencial para aquel completista que desea tener cada toma registrada. Es esencial por el material de Memphis en el 69 disponible en "American Way" y en "Unsurpassed".
